A Midsummer's Night Dream
Anybody out there in love right now? Or remember being in love? The kind of sparkly happier-than-happy flipped out kind of love when you love someone so much you forget about yourself and the other person loves you back the same way.

My son,23 just moved in with his girlfriend and he-they are that happy right now and it reminded me of when I was young and soooooo in love.

Reminded me of a July night many years ago, ahhhh yeah we were so in love.
Just so nice knowing that someone's so happy

'Love is a puff of smoke
Raised with a fume of sighs
Being purged, a fire sparkling in lover's eyes,
Being vexed, a sea nourished with lover's tears

What is it else?
A madness most discreet
A choking gall
And a preserving sweet'

Shakespeare

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

EE Cummings

*sigh*

the nuns would've fainted. the closest we got to his "yummy" side was making fun of his name. :D

5. We're at the 'comfortable shoe' phase of love now

Hubby & I've been together fer nigh on _4 years , jus cant type that 3 in there. some hard times.

Love evolving into something thats kinda taken for granted, nothing exciting certainly, but that familiar coziness, comfort of putting on a favoite old pair of slippers.

"Well I looked at the granite markers
Those tribute to finality to eternity
And then I looked at myself here
Chicken scratching for my immortality
In the church they light the candles
And the wax rolls down like tears
There's the hope and the hopelessness
I've witnessed thirty years"

WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN.

but its interesting too because of my son
going to Israel last year as part of "Birthright Israel" where they give FREE trip to US citizens between 18-26.

the israeli doo dah military got real chummy with him.
He's going to a prestigious Graduate school in World Diplomacy 'n shit
