5. As long as your signs have correct spelling
you'll look far better than any republican protest sign. :P

Invest is a wide-tip black sharpie. It'll make your signs much more readable.

7. Do you know who's hosting his Napa fundraiser?
That's the second very big, very private fundraiser he's had in Napa, and I'm wondering who the big, nasty republican is up there. x)

And I bet your sign looks great. :hi:

12. Frank Faimily Vineyards
I googled "napa bush fundraiser" and the third link was to a DU thread about the protest:

14. Thanks for finding that. I drink a lot of Napa wine, but theirs will go next to Gallo...
...on my "not even if I were dying of thirst" boycott list.

20. I just got caught in the Bush traffic jam
Edited on Thu Jul-17-08 06:59 PM by NV Whino
Apparently he is flying into Sutter Home (AKA Trinchero Family Vineyards), going to the Frank residence, not the winery, (on the Silverado Trail across from ZD and Mumm) and then on to an event at Meadowood.

Security seem tighter than it was the previous trip so I didn't even try to get to a place to protest. Just drove on home... after I got out of the traffic jam. I might go out later if it sounds like the helicopters are going to take off from my little airport. But it will probably be too late for pics.

Note: Meadowood = Harlan wines, too. Not that we can afford Harlan wines to even boycot them.

22. Here's a statement about Harlan

4:45 p.m.

The CHP is moving people off the private portion of Oakville Grade near Harlan Wine Estates.
Our reporters are told sheriff's deputies have permission from the landowners to arrest any trespassers.

It's a live blog and is updated frequently. Looks like he's going to Harlan first, then maybe Frank and then maybe Meadowood.

9. That's cooll. It will make it look like there are kids involved in the protest, which is usually
a good thing.

10. That's the best kind of sign.
If it doesn't look mass-produced, people take notice.
