I'd make sure all my food was stroed away in well-dsealed cannisters, etc., and make the place as 'rodent-unfriendly' as possible. Unless they were truly being destructive, though, I'd just sorta learn to live with 'em until warm weather arrives, when they'll go back outdoors. :)

You need to find the entry point.

How are they getting into the house/apartment?

Look at the areas where pipes or wires come into the house. Our weak spot was an old doggie door that hadn't been sealed properly. Once I sealed that up, and took care of the remaining varmits, we had not problem.

And keep in mind, I know there are a lot of people here who have problems with killing anything, but they haven't seen a real mice infestation, I'll betcha. It's disgusting and appalling what happens to your cupboards, behind appliances, drawers, under furniture, in the WALLS! UGH! Get rid of them by any means possible.

get yourself a little fur person. What are you waiting for? Go to the animal shelter today and pick yourself out a sweet little critter. Better yet, let the critter pick you. Cats know who they want to spend time with. All of my cats chose me and we're all very happy together.
