1. ITS A LOCK
Ohio State will not win the National Title. Last year the Buckeyes were preason ranked 12th by SI. Oklahoma was ranked number one. The big question is, what NCAA violation will the Buckeyes get away with this year? And which NFL team will get Clarett? Keep an eye on those Razorbacks, comfortably sitting at #40.

10. No, but I knew one of the guys on the team my freshman year.
In those years (1986, in particular) the whole kickoff team was walk-on volunteers. I know one of the guys. He just loved football, and always wanted to play at A&M. Too bad he was small, and not particularly fast. He had scholarship offers to DIII schools, but didn't want one. Anyway, he did that for a season hoping to impress the coaches. :eyes: But it didn't work. I think a couple years later, the walk-ons gave up a kickoff TD, and the idea was scrapped to only have one walk-on on the kick-off team.

13. The 12th man is actually a pretty cool tradition
I hadn't seen an A&M game for a long time before last year. I didn't know they only had one but that makes sense.

14. You can see them in person, if you like.
I wonder if they're taking the band - that is worth the price of admission - promise!!!

8. How that program is at least on probation is known only to St. Bobbie
The should shut the whole thing down in my opinion. Will there be a line on their games this year?

7. And bringing up the rear at #117........the Utah State Aggies
Look for a barnburner of a game on Nov.22 when their season wraps up at the Idaho Vandals (ranked #116) who for reasons only known to God are in the Sun Belt Conference.

12. Are you kidding?
Okie State is a pretty darned good team, especially on offense. Plus, their coach is undefeated against OU (2-0). :D

How would you like coaching in the Big XII South? Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Baylor. Only one cupcake there, and that's Baylor.

17. ND Fans
I think Maryland was the first game last year--played at the meadowlands--ND won easily against a ranked team. Not sure if I think what's-his-name is a good coach or not--was it simply the change that made them do well? They really fell apart at the end, and a decent coach should have been able to rally them. Anyway, Condi-liar Rice was in the stands (the coach came from Stanford) and he went and talked to her and said she was a "very, very dear friends."

That almost makes me want them to lose.

18. I think Condi is ~"dating" Gene Washington of the NFL offices
but then again that intelligence may be wrong.
