The agent's reader read it first
(the reader turns out to be the daughter
of the man who wrote both the play & filmscript
of Driving Miss Daisy), then the agent, then
the agent called & asked for the whole ms. It
is looooooong so I was nervous about that but
she loves it & had such good things to say about
it that I am in a dream state to be sure. Not
sure what you mean by "cold calling". It was "cold
sending," as when I sent the query/synopsis/66pp
she didnt know me from Adam.
