Weirdest Day Ever And How Was Your Day?
Edited on Sat Jun-21-08 08:21 PM by AccessGranted
Today was just weird. Me and my Significant Other (SO) decided to take a ride up into the mountains. He drove. As we were driving. we stopped at a light and I felt someone staring at me and I looked to the right. The guy in the car next to us looked exactly like Charles Manson and he just kept staring at me like he was completely insane. He didn't move or blink. I told my SO and he looked over at the guy. He just just kept staring totally deranged until the light changed. Creepy.

After that we got lost up in the mountains and we pulled over to read a map near a sewage plant, which was gross. When we went to pull off, my SO thought the car was in drive and it was in reverse and he almost backed into the sewage dump.

Then we found the scenic spot we were looking for and couldn't find any place to park, so we parked near some woods and walked through a small patch of woods and then crossed some railroad tracks and to the left about sixty feet away was a train tunnel. We checked before crossing and found a lovely scenic spot. We're standing there admiring the view and a cop came and told us we couldn't be there and threatened us with a ticket for trespassing.

Then the cop was escorting us back to our car and just when we got to the other side of the tracks about 8 feet from the tracks he says hold on, looks at his watch and says, "Watch this". We stop. He stares at his watch and counts - "One, two, three". A passenger train came barreling out of the tunnel doing about 100 mph and whooshed past. The weird part was that it was dead silent. There was no rumbling of the ground, no sound, it didn't honk and it was on us in about 1/2 a second. Cop goes, "See how easily you could have died". He said there was some weird sound dynamic with the mountains, the valley and the tunnel and you can't hear the train coming. It was strange.

Then we were at a light and I saw something on the side of the road and I looked to see what it was. It was roadkill....a dead fox. I looked at it and just as I did I noticed it was teaming with flies and maggots and they were coming out its mouth and eyes holes. I almost hurled.

Was today like an omen or a creepy horror movie? We made it home safely, but everything was so strange. Glad to be safe in my room. Maybe we should have stayed home.

2. It was like you fell down the rabbit hole!
Very weird... especially the part about not being able to hear the train. Wow. Your day could have been an episode of the X-files.

My day was completely normal! LOL

9. I dunno.
They seemed to be having a weird ass day. :)

Seriously, your day sounds pretty messed up. Stuff like that would lead me to write some lyrics or a dark bit of poetry, or do some art or something. Anything to get those vibes out of me. :D

10. Same here
I write all the time - lots of poetry...all kinds of stuff. Cleanses the soul. Maybe I should write one now after this day.
