Weehoo! I gots me a job!
Edited on Mon Jun-16-08 05:58 PM by DarkTirade
Nothin' fancy, just at a store in the next town over. But income's income. :) And I get an employee discount for all the nifty crafty stuff I'll probably end up spending half my paycheck on.

I start tomorrow at (ugh!) 9 in the morning. :hangover:

1. Damn!
If I'd known you were looking for a job I'd have offered you one. As sex slave. OK, the pay wouldn't have been great but the hours would have been.

Anyway, congrats.

Khash.

8. Is the pay good?
I am un-employed right now, I want a good job but I want to get paid well. I am making more off my benefits that I have been offered from any perspective employers.

enough for me.

11. Chain, unfortunately. Michael's.
But there really isn't much in the way of local establishments right there, it's right across the street from the mall. Most of the local places are all in the various towns themselves.

28. Mmmm...beads...
DROOOL. You have found my weakness.

Seriously, that's a good store. Very clean. And they try to be friendly.

I know what you mean about local establishments. The only ones I know about are in the villages of Victor and Canandaigua, and they're all tiny. The mall and the surrounding territories are where it's at, for better or worse.

Enjoy your new income! :hi:

Unlike real coffee, which keeps you drunkely alert when mixed with whiskey. :P

So all I need to add is the whiskey and I've got irish coffee. :P

Hmm... I also have scotch... I wonder if it would explode if I added scotch instead of irish whiskey...

35. I'm in the lucky position of not having to pay much in the way of bills
so I don't have to be picky about salary. I just need SOME kind of income.

Awww. Poor water dragon. :( I thought about getting one of those once, but I knew I wouldn't have enough room for one.

I'm sure my sis-in-law would have been surprised to see it if I had though... since she just moved across the world away from their natural habitat to live here. :P

It's just the last six months or so that I've been unemployed.

Come to think of it... I think the only times I've ever been unemployed were when I was in school full time with the one exception of the couple of months when my job suddenly went under with no warning.
