Is there a site to figure out what sort of cords you have?

I'm going through all sorts of stuff and I have random cords/cables or little converter things and I have no idea what they go with.

If I no longer have the thing anyway, obviously I want to get rid of it. but if it's for something that's here, I don't.

I know what RCA cables are and splitters, usb parallel port...

is there a site where you can see what something looks like to try to identify what you have?

3. it's ridiculous

my son knows what some things are... they go to old video game players, etc. but some are just sort of mysterious. I have a coverter jack (looks like) that plugs into something like a european outlet with a place to plug in something that looks like it would hold an earphone plug.

strange.

how many junk drawers do you have?

I'm going thru yet more old papers, etc. and trying to reduce everything to two boxes. I've decided to scan lots of things so I don't have to keep a physical copy.

4. i cleaned out the junk drawer in my kitchen and i found about 10 chargers

for phones none of us have anymore, 4 chargers to i don't know what and a set of keys to every car i've ever owned.

and I still have boxes full of research for writing something. two kids.

I honestly just put boxes and boxes of stuff in a room over a few years after I got a divorce b/c I, uh, couldn't sort it out.

I have a major garage sale in my near future.

6. my garage, i don't even want to think about it. The gateway to hell in there

somewhere buried behind paint cans, lawn equipment and a bunch of other "stuff". One day i will clean it out and put some cabinets in there and maybe get the floor painted. Yeaaahhhhh right!

The things that you ARE looking for never make it to the junk drawer. The battery cover for the remote or some other device. It's gone. The missing key for the bike lock. Gone.
