What's for Dinner, DU?
I'm making homemade pizza, if I ever get off of my lazy ass. Steak, Peppers, Onion, Garlic, Kalamata Olives, Feta, Mozzarella.

Yum. :9

1. Chicken Alfredo
and a nice salad and good vino.

I smoked ribs all day yesterday but was too tired to even think about eating - after I fed everyone, I sat down and didn't even want to move off the couch. Those ribs are damned good and maybe I will put some of those out too.

Cheers!

(I make homemade pizza a lot - I like to make them with buffalo mozzarella and usually pepperoni or a pepper salami and then add fresh basil after cooking. - I also use the kalamata olives! But I really can't stand feta... too pungent - gamey for me....:) )

2. My dear bi_baby!
Oh, that sounds yummy!

We're having my fav spaghetti dinner...homemade sauce!

I've been cooking it for over 40 years!

We both love it, and it only gets better with reheating...

4. Peggy -
Take that pot off the stove - you only need to cook that sauce for a couple of hours!

40 years is way too long to cook a sauce, it must be reduced to a round blob with its own life energy by now.

You giant kidder, you!

You know damn well I didn't mean that!

Pretty freaking funny, I must say!

The sauce cooks for one hour, sweetie......one lonely solitary hour!

(I knew what you meant but I had to take a shot.)

21. Nothing!
We were out on a Father's Day adventure, riding our bikes along the canal and hunting down a couple of geocaches. We spoiled our appetites with ice cream at 5:00 when we were done and then couldn't bring ourselves to go out to dinner like we planned.

Maybe I'll toast a bagel after Jr. goes to bed.

36. Common Good Books in St Paul, MN
Here's the website:
http://www.commongoodbooks.com

For a small store, he's got a fairly decent selection of stuff. He also lives in the neighborhood, and it's not uncommon to see him there or in the coffee shop upstairs from the store.

Did I mention how much I love my neighborhood? :)

I haven't been there in years but they have the most incredible eggplant pizza. It's at the intersection of Huron Ave and Concord Ave in Cambridge. :9

It rivals my long lost, favorite North End pizza place, Georgio's.
