I spent to last two days with my friend, her mother passed away tonight.
She came home to die, with hospice care.

She had been in the hospital for several days but wanted to come home.

It was a very humble experience to watch this woman pass on.

She had cancer and the pain was great.

She was ready to go, just waiting for my friend to let her go.

My friend is here now at my house, at peace I hope.

2. This was the first time I ever saw a human pass away.
She went very peaceful, the look on her face just relaxed.

4. It was the hardest thing I have ever done.
I had to tell my friend to let her mother go.

It has been just the two of them so I can understand my friend's feelings.

Her mother really wanted to go, the cancer had spread.
