Although we were a totally secular family--I had an atheist mother and a non-practicing tho brought up Orthodox Jewish father.

We did Xmas because it was my mother's birthday. But I don't bother with it now that she's gone.

Have you noticed a rash of Christmasy-themed TV commercials lately? There's an Enzyte commercial and a cell phone commercial where they're caroling. How dare they pollute one of the most blissfully Christmas-free times of the year with that tripe!
