Checkin' in from the ATL tonight

Friends (good Lord, I sound like John McCain after I have had a few beers tonight)... I am checking in on one of my favorite message boards tonight. I have had some good local brew (Terrapin Brewing's rye pale ale) and am getting ready to head to the beach tomorrow with my family. This has been a good week for our party and that has left me mostly in a good mood. Being a little more somber, my english bulldog, Luther, seems to be nearing the end of the line (he's 9 1/2 years old) and that is making me a little sad - trying not to really think about losing him to avoid the complete meltdown that I know is out there on the horizon.
