I was going to use the power washer to remove our old deck paint.
The paint is still on the deck, the power washer is back in the house, and I am soaking wet.

"(the power washer) is pretty much self-explanatory to use," my ASS!

4. No worries, there.
Yesterday I somehow managed to whack the pull-bar of Jack's wheeled backpack into my neck while I was getting in my car. This forced my head upward into the door frame while I was shutting the door, and I slammed my head in between the frame and the car door.

It would be borderline amazing that I even managed a mild head injury in such a way, except I've done the SAME thing before (minus the backpack)!

Clearly, I need to be swathed in bubble wrap and wheeled everywhere on a gurney for my own safety and that of bystanders.

6. I have been off school for less than two weeks, and i have bruises EVERYWHERE!
Jack is challenging. He is the cause of a lot of my bruises.

He keeps calling me "Daddy" and telling me I'm "all done" every time I try to do anything that does not involve playing puppets with him.

12. Honestly, you should be pitching this to Fox for a sitcom.

Not  at your pain/injuries, but it reads like an episode of Three's Company.

11. Power washers are horrible on wood....
they wash away the soft wood and leave the hard wood. So the boards will be rutted and prone to splinter. Also they will be much harder to paint due to the differening levels of wood. And the paint will not be a uniform due to the height difference.

seriously this (used to be) my business.

Use a paint remover and a hard bristled deck broom to remove the paint. It will leave the wood smooth. Don't use any higher pressure to wash than what you can get out of a regular spray nozzle.
