But interestingly, the MD/med students I know love the show because they say, some of the silly comedy aside, its the most realistic portrayal of Medical Residency on TV...

And I'll usually find myself enjoying it. But I rarely seek it out.

Malcolm in the Middle, on the other hand, had some truly funny moments. That one I'll watch of my own volition unless there's something better on.

14. I'm not much of a fan, either - I haven't seen many

episodes, and while some of it was amusing, the appeal didn't stick for me.

But then again, I'm just not a big fan of sitcoms anyway... I liked Frasier every now and then (though I know Kelsey Grammar is a repuke). I despised Seinfeld. I thought Soap was fantastic, but I was only a kid when it was on so I don't know what I'd think of it now.

I can tolerate it.

He's not in any way affiliated with the medical profession. It strikes me as a bunch of 35 year olds acting like 15 year olds. Which I guess is a guy's paradise. :shrug:
