1. No, no, no.
It's not the vegan potluckers (that sounds dirty) that are the terra-ists, it's the "inner circle" they want to infiltrate, expose and prosecute for what they are. Bunch of tree hugging hippy freak nonviolent hempsters. Or something.

6. Right. It's the people who ORGANIZE vegan potlucks
that are terrorists.

You know, people who have dining rooms and like to invite over groups of friends. :P

8. What about people who give lectures on veganism to classes of omnis?
And bring food?

I just need to know if I should barricade the door.

11. Oh, see, now you're a Terrorist Recruiter!
:wow:

Start bolting chains on the doors and nailing plywood up on the windows. I'm sure the FBI is on the way. :P

13. I don't know. You'd have to ask LeftyMom.
But she's a Friggin Terrorist Recruiter. You think she cares about cruelty free hardware? :(

:P

14. See, that's why I refuse to speak with her.
I'm on enough lists. I don't need to be on the FBI's "Affiliated With LeftyMom" list.

Screw that.

Wow. I have to be honest, love, but well...there are pics of me with...you know, others.

Actually, it kind of makes you...in compliance.

Va-Voom! Or something.

20. You're not doing much to keep yourself off a list, mister.
I don't think they offer a vegan option at Gitmo.

2. I hate vegan potluck terrorists.
By which, I assume they mean people who brings something lame like chips and salsa, then eat whatever awesome scratch thing I made before I get any. Though I'm not quite sure potluck freeloaders need to be a priority of federal law enforcement, at least until they find the fiend who steals my socks out of the laundry room.

7. Are we dangerous because we know how to cook
and we've acquired too many kitchen gadgets?

I have two rice steamers. A large one and a small one. I have a multipurpose cuisinart and a small "outboard motor" hand blender. I have a KitchenAid Mixer with attachements. Ooooh! Scary!

9. I'm so glad the US is protecting me from those terraists.
With their tofu and their rice steamers...I always knew there was something fishy about those people.

:sarcasm:

22. Is a "potluck terrorist" a person who brings cheap store-bought crap to a party?
And are the vegan versions of these party-foulers particularly dangerous?

And has the nerve to bring it to a potluck where LeftyMom has stayed up all night cooking wonderful vegan dishes from scratch.

26. I was thinking they're the people who think 'vegetarian' means you still eat chicken and
'vegan' just means that you like to rescue the chickens while eating dairy products.

28. I think we need to organize vegan potlucks nationwide, in honor of this stupidity.
We can all eat good food, enjoy good company, and scare the crap out of the FBI, who will likely assume that revolution is imminent.

29. I like this idea...
Edited on Thu May-22-08 10:00 AM by Chan790
then again, I'm the sort of jackass that started a campaign after the "USA Patriot Act" passed encouraging people to go to their local libraries and check out books that would be monitored. I figured if the FBI wanted to invade our privacy, I'd give the bastards a reason...and so much data as to make the effort futile.

If I knew all I had to do was throw a potluck...

(I'm convinced I have a file: Between that effort at annoyance, being a photographer for a college student newspaper during the DC World Bank protests, some of the stuff I've said here, and all the civil rights and animal protection literature I get in the mail...I forgot all my associations with godless heathens and communists.)

P.S. The white crow flies at midnight. Pieces of eight make nine.
