3. he wasn't good last night

other than that i've liked him... and unlike every one else on the show he isn't boring and he seems to have a real personality. david cook has good performances, but he annoys the hell out of me. i automatically fast forward through the little kid and seyisha's songs because not only do the annoy the hell out of me, the music they sing is just boring and not the kind of music i like at all.

i preferred jason when he stuck to his folky rock stuff and he went away from that for the past few weeks which is why he hasn't been doing as well. then again, i'm a fan of folky rock, and a lot of people aren't.

different strokes for different folks i guess.

david cook should win, but i wouldn't be surprised if one of the other two win since american idol winners usually suck and have not originality.

He was the most original they have had on that show also from the ones I have seen. The closest I have seen was that Taylor Hicks dude.

i was expecting him to leave after last night(i love him and think he's great, but he had a bad night last night), but it still sucks. no reason to watch the show now!

11. I thought he did fine last night

He forgot some words and they nailed him to the wall, but when that gaspy kid forgot the words to the Beatles song the judges (once again) pimped him and praised his genius. The show is so set up that it's fun to watch. Last week Paula ragged on Castro's second song before he even sang it..lol, the show is so fixed.

i thought he could have done better with it. the second song though i thought was pretty good.. not his best by far though. with both songs though, he seemed like he was just bored and not having fun, lol. i think he was over the show

the reason i didn't like the first song from him is because he didn't have his usual nonchalant charm about him.. he just seemed bored and annoyed with it all.

12. The most fun contestant ever was Kellie Pickler,

in my opinion. She was genuinely fresh and (unintentionally) funny. Sanjaya last year tried too hard to be outrageous and seemed phony to me.

i thought david did good with the themes by turning them into his own.. everyone else sucked in my opinion. the problem jason has had is that he hasn't been spinning the songs his own way anymore... which is why a lot of people think he was just over it all(seems like the judges though that too).

It's not really my kind of music, but her voice is extremely strong and she's done very well recently.

I don't like the Davids. Cook has some talent, but ehhh and Archuletta is completely overrated.

I dont think he wanted the idol contract that the top two get. He will be the biggest star to come out of this season, just wait and see !

He has been the first original and different contestant in a very long time. My previous favorite was Clay, but I think I liked Jason even better.

One of my favorite things that Jason said was when they were interviewing everybody on one of the shows about their most embarrassing moment on idol and everyone had a story, Jason said he doesnt get embarrassed, so he had nothing.

C'mon. Really. Jason sucked donkey balls. And good grief, if you're going to play guitar while you sing, don't be continually reaching up to flip your dreads out of the way!

I'm not crazy about Archuleta, but I have to admit that he has a monster voice for anything besides pop/rock music. Cook should win, although Syesha is a helluva performer (in the Broadway mold, more than the pop idol mold) and can look exceptionally hawwwwt.

The one thing I don't like about Cook (although I thought he phoned it in this week) is that he doesn't strike me as a "real" guitar player; the Les Paul seems to be more of a prop for him.

That guy was tailor-made to play to the Jack Johnson fan. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, mind you -- nor am I saying there's anything wrong with Johnson, Donovan Frankenreiter and their ilk in that peculiar surf-folk subgenre -- I'm just saying what it is.

and i like jason.. sometimes it is just nice to have some good chill out music. i spend a lot of time around the pool during the summer and tend to play that type of music along with some reggae and ska. it is just fun light music.

if I'm gonna go contemporary, I like Michael Franti and Spearhead. Awesome stuff. But generally, I play roots reggae when I'm grillin' and swimmin'. Peter Tosh is probably my fave. (As if that wasn't obvious from the username. :P )
