Poll question: How many plants did you buy this weekend?

I bought two ninebarks, a pipevine, a potato plant, about 2 dozen strawberries, three tomatoes, two needlegrasses, and 12 petunias.

So how many plants did y'all get?

1. None!
I don't have any dirt in which to plant them, even if I wanted plants.

As it is, I have one plant of some sort (came w/ the apartment) that lives very unhappily in a pot by the front door. I almost never remember to water it, poor thing.

4. none. Still deciding what to plant. However we did by lawn fertilizer
and other nutrients and some shade loving grass seed.
I think I am going to fill my big pots with sweet potato vines both green and purple and maybe geraniums or petunias

also I am always on the lookout for perennials that tolerate our dry hot Texas summers

5. My dear Xema!
I bought one on Friday...

A lone tomato plant!

When it's a little bigger, I'll take a pic of it!

I was going to buy some bell pepper plants, but they didn't have any...:wtf:

But later on, they will, and then I'll get one of those...

:hi:

7. I've been growing mine under lights...

I just put them out for a little while yesterday to harden off, but the wind was too strong. I can't wait to get the little babies in the ground. I'm growing flowers and vegetables.

8. When you say plants, do you mean that they have to be alive with roots and stuff.
or could they be dead, dried out and easily set on fire?

11. I clicked "other"
All of the plants that I bought this weekend were at least partially cut up, and have now been cooked and put in my belly.

A house a mile away had a plant sale in their yard yesterday, they had 4 big tables of plants. I got 5 or 6 in pots and a wad of irises. I can't remember what the ones in the pots are.. at least one perennial. They're waiting on the porch with the annuals and I forgot what they are  one is hens n chicks.
