OK it's almost MAY and it's 36 damn degrees out in Minnesota
and it's freakin' COLD and I'm home sick with a cold from hell and all I want is spring, please, could we have maybe a week, hell, even three days straight with temps above fucking FIFTY???

I want to bake in some hot sunshine. This is the most pathetic spring I can remember. Thank God for lemon tea, honey, and schnapps. And DU.
Damn, I feel like shit. Don't suppose it helped that I spent a half hour in cold rain out at the cemetery yesterday cleaning up crap and putting up a new spring wreath (which would have looked really nice if the SUN had been out and it hadn't been damn near SLEETING....)

Grrrrr. Sorry. End of rant. Going for more tea. And to turn up the HEAT.

4. This is getting really old. We keep getting these "teaser" days
where you think, "Oh! At last! Nice weather!" and three hours later you're in the house putting on sweats and jackets and grabbing hats and gloves...sheesh. I want to be outside in my garden! This SUCKS!

7. So COME BACK! And bring the sun and warmth with you!
The sun is weakly trying to peek through the clouds, but it's still freakin' cold and it's rather windy and mostly grey and really depressing. Being sick doesn't help, but at least I have the credibility at work of people knowing I didn't just call in sick on a Monday because it's nice out *lol*

10. Oh how lovely! My irises are up but nowhere near blooming, and
my rose is budding but that too will be some time before it flowers.
*sigh* I know it's coming...but it's getting to be a long wait!!
