I just got home from work and found out that my father in law had a heart attack tonight. He recognized the signs and called an ambulance and was taken to the local hospital. They decided to send him to Portland (hour and a half south of us) for testing. He's in his 60's, also is diabetic.

We may not agree politcally, but I do adore him.

So, please send him some vibes

I wish he had some company down there though. He is also recently divorced and his 14 year old son decided to live with his mother up north (that's a whole 'nother issue) and we, and my sister in law both have small kids, so going down tonight was not an option.

9. update

so, my FIL had a stint put in one artery, and another one is a bit clogged but they feel he can take care of that through his diet. My SIL is going down today while the kids are in school, and we're just gonna wait up here for any news. He's expected to be home on thursday.
