You can't get nerdier than me.
Honestly.

I just finished writing Star trek fanfic to practice writing dialog. My aunt asked me why I couldn't write two real people speaking, and I went on claiming that I barely know how real people speak and that star trek lingo just comes naturally.

Me = Nerd.

1. Years ago, I adapted 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' for the stage
Had to toss out a few bits because... well, like how do you lop off some dude's arms and legs when you're live? :shrug:

One of my fondest wishes is to put on a "Night of the Python" wherein we'd perform some of the more memorable bits on stage while inviting people to come in character, a la "Rocky Horror." Do it for charity. :)

2. Haha.
I don't think Monty python is as nerdy as Star trek.

3. I' ve wondered about fan fic as an excercise for just that...
the characters are developed, so you just have to manipulate the situation. Do you think this is effective?

4. It helps me figure out how to write dialog.
And I'm getting better with my certain problem with pronoun shifts and where to put commas.
