Hey all you beer elitists... The finest of brew is coming back!
Beer here? Pabst to reintroduce Schlitz beer in selected markets

"WOODRIDGE, Ill. -- The adage says absence makes the heart grow fonder but does that include old beer brands?

The Pabst Brewing Company appears to be betting on it, reintroducing Schlitz beer in Chicago this week.

No word yet on whether or not Schlitz will soon be available again in northeastern Ohio markets.

The beer was once a top-seller in the Midwest but the Illinois-based company changed its formula in the 1970s and sales fell sharply.

The flagship Milwaukee brewery was closed more than a decade ago.

Pabst is relaunching the old brew in long-neck bottles at 10 outlets on Chicago's North Side with hopes of wider availability next year.

Chicago is the third market for the Schlitz reintroduction, following roll-outs in Minneapolis/St. Paul and Tampa Bay, Florida."

3. I may be biased here,
since I had one of the worst nights of my life on the stuff, but I hate Schlitz. It really doesn't matter to me, since I don't drink now anyway. I do remember they used to come thirty to the case, instead of the standard twenty-four. Once I tasted it, I knew the reason wasn't cause they liked you.

Schlitz was terrible and I don't think they will improve on the taste.

the Minneapolis/St Paul area needs.

Why do they feel the need to reintroduce a shitty beer?

I will stick to drinking Fat Tire.

7. Sign at local pub back in the '90s:
"Get the all-day Schlitz! Every Friday get 50-cent drafts all-day!"
