Do you know the time of day you were born?
And does that time reflect the kind of person you are today?

That is, if you were born at night, are you now a night owl?

Or, if you were born in the daytime, are you daylight oriented, or a morning lark?

I was born at 2:07 a.m. and I am a night owl!

:woohoo: :woohoo:

Am a night owl for sure! I used to feel pretty weird between the hours of 2-5am, now I work shiftwork,so I can legitimately stay up at all hours!

19. oh to be able to retire soon...
I have a ways to go to hit that (or hit the lottery first)

I do so miss my last 2nd shift job...it worked so well for my sleeping patterns.

Get up at my leisure (no alarm clocks!) around 1pm, plenty of time to get things done before work at 3:30.

Off at midnight, still 2 ~ 2.5 hours before last call if we wanted to go out after work.

Usually used sunrise as "it's bedtime".

And being an online computer geek since the early 80's (way back when CI$ was $6.00/hr. to chat) a lot of us have known for ages the best folks online were the all nighters!

29. It was early in the morning, that's all I know.
I don't know if there's any correlation to my lifestyle. I usually only sleep a few hours a day, and those hours may be in the morning, the afternoon, or evening. I'm almost always up late though, and I've been a night owl since I was little and would wait until my parents went to bed and then I'd get back up, usually to read comics or watch the Tonight Show and Tom Snyder. I don't seem to get tired unless I'm sick, though since I had my thyroid taken out last year I do have a lot less energy. x(

Being manic and bipolar helps too! :)

20. About 11am.
Still do not like getting up early in the morning.

I was born on a weekday and my Dad did not go to work that day. At the end of the week, he asked his boss what he should put down for that day. The guy said to put down what he wanted. So my Dad said he was picking up a delivery that day. :P

For the most part, I'm a night owl. I like to start my work days earlier, but only so I can get to my relaxation/off times sooner. During the weeks I'm not much of a night owl, but as you can see by when I'm posting her, on Fridays and Saturdays all the rules fly out the window!

57. No, but how can I find out?

I have wanted to get a good astrology reading for many years and it seems that time
of birth is a big factor in the accuracy of the reading.

The logical answer would be to ask my mother. I have done that and received the
following reply: "It was dark."

Well, that really narrows it down. So I was born either in early morning or late
at night. That is a big help, Mom. She says she doesn't remember at all. Maybe
I was really adopted?

60. 7:41 pm but what I am varies
sometimes a night owl, but sometimes the opposite. the other strange thing is that once awake i'm never sleepy in the morning, only in the afternoon and evening. i need afternoon coffee as opposed to morning coffee.

123. What a fascinating theory!
CalPeggy, you are a creative thinker!

I was born at 4:15 in the afternoon. I am most definitely NOT a morning person. Never have been. I'm very good at sleeping -- 8 hours is just not enough for me to be really functional.

I think we should start a movement to counteract the idea that morning people get more done!! It seems like lots of people think night owls are lazy. That's not true, we just do our thing at different hours.

Besides, just because the sun comes up does not mean WE have to get up. Isn't that why God invented Thomas Edison or something?

Stay up late, sleep late -- go for it if your situation permits!!

:yourock: :bounce:  :pals: :toast: :grouphug:

We sure don't have to get up with the sun! Thank God for T. Edison!
