But she has always been my favorite character.

In the late '70's I used to go around asking people, "If life were the Mary Tyler Moore Show, who would you be?"

Most folks looked at me with a mixture of wonderment and dismay...

13. Oh oh oh, not the quiz, but a funny story about my 5 year old!

The other day my 5 year old who has been watching the Simpsons since he was zero, said something like "eat my shorts!" and I said, "Why would you say something like that?" He said (obviously), "Well Bart says it."

So I go on to explain that Bart is the "bad boy" in the show and that he's not the person you're supposed to take after. Then I ask him:

"So, thinking about the Simpsons, who do you think is the good person that you're supposed to see as a role model."

and he says "I don't know"

so I respond.

"Now, think about it a second. Who do you think is the 'best' person on the show?"

and he says

"I don't know, Moe?"



I had to laugh like hell for about 2 months.
