Monday at noon I had a meeting with a nonproft that does work similar to the nonprofit I work for about coordinating efforts. It would be a little bit for things to lift off, because their coordinator position on the same level as my coordinator position is currently empty.

At one on Monday I found out my position is going to be eliminated.

So, after informing all of the people I've been developing things with about this sudden change of plans, I get invited to apply for the open position at the similar nonprofit. Meanwhile I've been shopping my resume around.

Weird. Shifting jobs like this makes me feel either like a political gun for hire, or just a political whore.

1. Hmm.
Listen you haven't lived till you've had 4 different jobs in 18 months like I have...That was after being someplace for 9 years....Fortunately I just became perm, where I am and they REALLY need me.

2. actually, I think I have had 4 jobs in 18 months
but I'm still in college so that's not really much to talk about.

And I guess that means you must have sold out to Big Pharm ClintObama, since real science work doesn't pay nearly as much as shilling for vaccine ingredients that have been out of circulation for a decade does.

5. Good grief
Taking a permanent job is not "selling out". Even if it is for Big Pharma. A girl's gotta eat and have a place to live. Not to mention health care.
