Any Anime folks out there? I'm looking for a Sailor Mercury costume and need advice

I had my daughter come over to look at the picture and she responded exactly how I expected. :D

Our local video store use to carry Sailor Moon but they stopped 6 months ago more or less. We've been relying on YouTube clips for a while but I need to break down and buy the damn videos.

As part of my ongoing mission to cosplay/crossplay all the brown people in anime and games. :P Fortunately the way I'm built, crossplay works. I can pass for a bishounen if need be, I'm tall and androgynous looking.

But yeah, we got the pattern and fabric and everything and then she went crazy and ran back home to Pennsylvania, with my pattern and fabric. :argh:

anyhoo, there are plenty of sites that help with cosplay... i was going to cosplay as a shinigami from bleach at anime central in may... but finances are not looking good.... :cry:
