How's everyone's weekend so far? Anyone doing anything fun or exciting?

Just putzing around here. Running errands, cleaning up, nothing exciting.

Gotta go to the grocery store. Any food suggestions?

1. The boys had Pee Wee basketball this morning. Made a few baskets, stole the ball a few

times. It was pretty good! (Well, except for tripping and falling on that hardwood floor. That was sad.)

4. Well, there were some tears but I wasn't allowed to do anything about it. He shrugged me right off.

3. Tomorrow, if all goes well, I'm cheerleading at a Quidditch game.

Seriously, a Harry Potter themed meetup group has come up with rules for muggles to play Quidditch on the ground. We've got the hoops, and a very hyperactive person running around as the snitch. The beaters have to kick kickballs around as bludgers. The seekers have to throw slightly larger balls around two-handed to score. It's all pretty cool.

They're playing the first game tomorrow. The Manhattan Marauders against the Central Park Centaurs.

I should have some pictures to post by mid-week. :)

6. We have two nurses who will be on hand.

And other DUer will be there with bandages and such. :)

A couple of the players are really upset that it won't be full-contact Quidditch. And if we can keep them reined in it shouldn't be too brutal. :P

10. We were supposed to get a couple of inches of snow...

but we didn't! It didn't start snowing until late afternoon, so I ran errands today. Tomorrow, I plan to look out the window and enjoy the snow. And try to get that lost hour of sleep back in the afternoon.
