I'm usually a more of a cat person but

who could not love this little face? We got her this past weekend.

Don't know why I named her that. It was just the first name that popped into my head the moment I saw her.

7. I had a female cat called cosmic charlie

when I was younger....she was teh awesome :)

Is she pure Lab, or a mix? We have 7 cats right now, and if I had a better yard and a more stable life, I'd have a dog in an instant... Just nice to have a dog hop in the car with you and cruise around on errands, for walks, etc.

6. Yep. Lab mix.

Mom was a black lab but not sure of dad. Mom got dumped out here in the country while she was preggers. Folks took her in and took care of her and the pups were giving them away free. She had a litter of nine!

She has a little white in her chin, white chest and a little white on each of her paws. And a smooth, hairless little puppy belly.

9. I really hate to have these feelings, but I hope there is a special place in

hell for people who abuse and mistreat animals - any animal, too, not just the 'cute' ones. I try not to dwell on negative feelings or thoughts, 'cuz I just get depressed, but I cannot abide cruelty or neglect in any form. Makes me crazy.

We had chocolate Lab and she was just an absolutely wonderful, intelligent, loving dog.

13. She smells a little more like

wet dog at the moment. We're working on potty training. It's pretty cold and wet out since we had close to three inches of snow this morning. She does like jumping around in it, tho. Very funny! LOL

My husband went to look at the pups and waited until one of them actually picked him and she was the one. She's very lovable and enjoys being with us.

one of my earliest memories (ok, memories of specific events) is going to get our first family dog as a pup when I was about 3. She was a mutt dog we got from a farm. My two current sorta-my dogs (I travel WAY too much to have a pet - I also really want a cat. One dog lives with my parents, the other with my gf, but I think they're both sorta mine) were rescue dogs, and both lab-ish mixes. One of these days I'll get one of those online photo accounts so I can post pictures.
