Project Runway fans - how did Rami get picked over Chris?

I thought they had more complaints about Rami's line and personally I thought that gown made the girl look fat. Whereas Chris made very unique outfits using safety pins and human hair - crazy stuff that any woman could wear.

1. If I see one more "draped" outfit I will lose it...

2. overall, I think the judges thought Rami had more potential / was

less costume-y. You could tell, almost from the beginning, that the judges thought Rami had potential, excellent skills, etc., and would protect him until the end. Chris can really pull out the couture stuff, much better than any of them, I think, but day-to-day wasn't nearly as strong. If you saw Chris' "Sew Not Over" challenge work, it was really kind of dreadful, whereas Rami's was better in many ways.

I guess the judges chose skills and point of view (Rami) over glamour and extravagance (many of Chris' regular-design challenges seemed kind of dated, but his couture/avante-garde stuff was amazing). Why they decided to go that way is anyone's guess.

3. i have no idea

the only dress of rami's that even they seemed to like was ... you guessed it.. DRAPED.

chris's stuff was original, unique, and creative.

everything rami makes looks the same.


i was super pissed that chris didn't get to show at fashion week.

4. He'll do a show at fashion week

It just won't be televised on Project Runway.

in order to keep the suprise all the finalists do a show - usually the top 4 although I heard they had Sweet P do a show too. What happens is that Fashion week is usually around the end of Project Runway season. If they only do the 3 finalists then it'll be a giveaway as to who was picked. By allowing the top finishers (usually 4 places this time it was 5 places) then no one knows who finally won.

5. I dunno, but it is infuriating

Chris is so much more creative and flamboyant, which I assume is what Fashion Week is all about.

i really don't care for Rami, never did from the first episode!

i was happy they brought Chris back.

7. They were never gonna put Chris in the final 3. Never ever.

Neither of their 3 outfits in that challenge wowed me, but I think Rami was designated a long time ago to be in the final 3, Chris not so.

Though I have to say when Rami won, and was so distracted by his desire to comfort Chris, he won me over.
