Are laser pointers good toys for cats?
I've been thinking of getting one for Baby and me to play with, but I don't know if it's a good thing or not. Will watching the little dot hurt her eyes? And wouldn't it be frustrating to run around and never be able to catch something?

Maybe I think too much! :P

2. They're a lot of fun for stoners
And my dogs always liked them. My cat gets bored with it, though.

4. as long as you don't shine it in their faces
otherwise, there's no better pet toy on the market.

Good for fun with pugs, too:

6. It snowed here last night...I kept my golden retriever very happy with one.
Snow AND the red dot at the same time. His two favorite things...he was in overload.

7. My kitties go ape shit over the laser pointer.
I have to hide it sometimes to get some peace.

Just don't shine it directly in their eyes.
