3. Uhhh, not quite that long. It's still missing about 1-1/2 minutes or so. . .
it's missing the satanic laughing from a man and the woman's screams. The original length is about 11 minutes.

If you want to hear the 11-plus minute version (as a back-drop), get the DVD/VHS of the movie Coming Home starring Jane Fonda, Jon Voight and Bruce Dern - if you can find it.

Just sayin'.

5. I have the 11 minute version on a mix CD in the car...
...so yeah, there's a little missing, but it's better than the "single" version...

I'm amazed at how well the song holds up. It's easily as good as any of the extended Doors tracks like "Light My Fire" or "When The Music's Over"...
