That's a Wisteria. My husband has been nurturing and training it and it's growing like a weed. It's gorgeous in a nice hue of purple when it blooms.
There were T poles for laundry in the yard and someone had wired the wisteria to one of them. My husband removed the poles (what a job that was) and cut the wisteria out of the wire. He made the arbor and planted the wisteria by it.
