Bed 2, Gym 0
Edited on Tue Feb-19-08 11:12 AM by underpants
Update from last week
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=105&topic_id=7473780

Well the clock said 4:25 and this time the bed wouldn't let me get out.

Tough to beat that bed when it is 36 degrees out.

Well looks like I don't have any choice. I signed up for a marathon that is 75 days away. AND I have a 10K in 47 days.

My lazy ass HAS to roll out tomorrow morning.....but this bed has powers like the freakin' LOST island does

* I was off yesterday so there was no competition.... the bed won that one too.

1. Same here, tho I'm not as ambitious as you are with a marathon.
And I am sicker than I have ever been in my life, so bed 5, gym minus 0 today, tomorrow and probably til I either die from this or hopefully get better. BTW, it's 70 here today, but I'm freezing.

2. Iwas thinking about another race
in and around Charlottesville but I drove it yesterday and at one point my lungs actually came out and said "PULLOVER NOW!!!!"

OKAY LOOK BUDDY there is not damed WAY you are going to do this race in 60 days so give it up maybe MAYBE next year if you stay on your training after the Richmond Marathon but DID YOU SEE THAT FREAKIN' HILL THAT WE JUST DROVE UP?!?!? NO FREAKIN'WAY!

It was horrific. Straight uphill for a 1/4 mile or so. YIKES!

3. 36? It was 36 degrees at 4:25.
I am so jealous. Here, it was 8 or 9 and the wind was howling.

:scared:

6. Hey, I don't care if you exercise or not. My exercise consists of shivering while running to the car
Stay in bed.

12. I got lucky
when I moved up here I found a form of exercise that I liked (ice skating) that was open to me during a 2 hour break between classes. :)

13. The gym is totally PWN3D by my bed lately
But I am having fairly significant shoulder and arm pain so I am trying not to injure it any further.
