2. What do you mean?
Clark Kent is just a mild mannered reporter...you can tell by the glasses.

6. That's true.
But if he has a goatee, then it's ill-tempered reporter Clark Kent.

3. He'd probably stretch the neck hole...
...and that would really piss Tony Stark off.

4. It would really just be an encumbrance.
He can move faster than a speeding bullet. The armor would just get in the way and slow him down. And he'd more than likely break the servos when he was using it.

7. Although if we're mixing it up between universes...
Iron Man vs. Steel - Who wins?

I'd go with Steel. Unless it's the crappy movie version played by Shaq.

10. Some of those matchups were totally bogus though.
Edited on Sat Feb-16-08 09:26 PM by ThomCat
There is no way Aquaman should be able to beat the Sub-Mariner.

Superboy should clean Spider-Man's clock in mere moments.

Thor can only defeat Captain Marvel through a plot device.

And Lobo should be able to peel the flesh off of Wolverine's bones.

12. Yeah, but that's what happens when you let the fans vote on it.
Plausibility matters less than popularity.

8. Nothing trumps superman. Sorry. That is when the rules were written. In stone.
Non negotiable due to generational imagination. Superman is the ultimate. Yet, consistent with pre modernalism, has the Achilles heel of Kryptonite. That would seem to be a trait that provides a transcendent aspect which would make new challengers just imaginary beings. At some point reality and frailty as traits lend believability and humanism that make believe loses.

Woh. Too much wine.

11. It would be nice to see someone who isn't a total asshole
wearing the armor. It might even protect Superman from Kryptonite.

The real challenge would be designing the armor to survive the strength and speed of the guy on the inside. It would have to endure, rather than enhance.

14. Supes doesn't need armor, but I've often wondered.
If the Flash can run faster than the speed of sound... how fast could he go if he hopped on a bicycle?
Obviously it would have to be a seriously durable bike... like an Adamantium bike.

15. His gauntlets would be shattered the first time he threw a punch.
The rest of the armor may be able to hold up though.
