How many tuxedos do you own?
I'm watching Lost and one of the characters said something wearing your tux on teh fifth date. Presumably he owns a tux.

I'm on my third but the other two are still in the closet.

I may have to buy tails.

1. I've never owned a tux and never will.
I've worn one three times, twice at my weddings and once at my brother's.

:hi:

3. I have one that probably doesn't fit me anymore.
Being a musician, I needed it for concerts and the like. But since I haven't been in an orchestra or serious chorus since 2003 or so...

5. A few thousand.
But, that's business ownership, not personal.

People rent tuxes for dates, events, etc too.

6. None, I'm a girl (woman).
I used to own a formal, though, a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

7. I have two equivalently formal gowns, though one would look a bit dated of late.
I do have a cummerbund and the matching bow tie thing left over from choir in high school. Needless to say, that gets a lot of wear.

Wore a rented one for my second wedding.

Hoping to never need one again.

10. I've got some in the drawer - I'd have to count to be sure

I don't see any reason to wait until the 5th date to wear one, however - tuxedos are always in style...
