Friday's hypothetical question
If you had two weeks off and someone to fund a vacation where would you go right now?

11. I just love that whole country.
But my family's dutch, so I might be biased.

Amsterdam is fun though, isn't it?

16. It really puts our "war on drugs" in perspective
Sitting in a coffee shop in Jordaan smoking a joint just really put all of American culture under the microscope for me. I must admit though, every time I'm in Europe it's just a big awakening to what our lives are really like over here.

18. Yup.
None of my family over there is worried about the following:

1) Starving
2) Healthcare
3) Keeping a roof over one's head
4) Out of control justice system with insane, lunatic punishments way out of scope with the crime

The big downside is that it pays to become conversant in bureaucracy to make life easier sometimes, but that's a small, small price to pay.

A trip to Argentina would be amazing, but I think that if someone financed me to be a Vegas high roller that would be it. I'm a crappy gambler but with unlimited cash I wouldn't give a shit.

That was like, the most fun day of my entire life. Meetin' strangers, eatin' sausages, a gallon of beer before noon. That's my kind of vacation.

34. Hell yeah. I definitely want to go to Oktoberfest.
I think it's funny that people spend thousands of dollars to go to tropical locations like Florida and the Carribean and drink these banana fuck foo-foo drinks. Fuck that. Go to Germany where you can learn something about drinking! :toast:

Edited on Fri Feb-15-08 11:43 PM by EOO
I'd start out in LA, work my way to Miami to see some relatives there, then head up north to see my relatives in Michigan, stopping along the way in Kentucky to see some friends/relatives, then make my way up to New York and end in Boston.
