Valentine's Day: Good thing or bad thing?
It's easy for me to say good thing, because I have a great wife--she's the love of my life.
But it's just as easy for me to say bad thing as well.

Before we were married, I had some pretty crappy ones. And, well, my wife and I have had a few crappy ones as well.

Does it make sense to feel obligated to tell the one you love you love them, having to worry about getting a card and a good gift, and does it make any more sense to reinforce feelings of crappiness in those that have yet to find that special someone?

I kind of dread this day because I feel like I have to live up to this completely man made artificial hype or risk hurting my wife's feelings.

I'm glad that it's over, to be honest.

And I REFUSE to recognize Sweetest's Day, for Chrissakes.
