fried potatoes with all manner of sauces and gravies
mashed potatoes with all manner of sauces and gravies
boiled potatoes with butter and parsley
diced potatoes with chili sauce, cheese, jalapenos

4. Potato rolls are awesome too
I'm definitely a potato lover.. Made a batch of Fish and Chips last night with a whole heap of greasy chips with kosher salt. They were so freakin good! BTW, eat your fries with tartar sauce, you will thank me later.

9. Too pickle-y for me. I like mine with ranch dressing.
And the secret of good potatoes is garlic. For some reason garlic really makes the difference in practically every potato recipe.

And the secret of french fries is to make them from leftover baked potatoes or to zap them in the microwave first. Allow them to cool and then fry the results. Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Sprinkle with garlic salt and serve with barbecue sauce and ranch dressing.

7. Potato Sausage - I miss it!
I haven't eaten it in years since giving up most meat products. It has Potato as its main ingredient. Very very tasty with a unique texture and taste. Hmmm hmmm.

8. I made this here Gratin tonight...came out GREAT!
http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_22599,00.html

I added a chopped onion to the recipe and it did take longer to get done than they suggest. Closer to 2 hrs as opposed to 1 1/2
