Anderson replaces Brady in Pro Bowl?

Somehow I have the feeling that had the Giant's game winning drive fallen short, Brady would have been just fine for the Pro Bowl.

1. The Pro Bowl is the lamest thing on the planet

Football season ended yesterday, the Pro Bowl does nothing to change that.

2. I think the problem with the pro-bowl is it's held too close after the superbowl

And if your team just lost, especially if it was a bit of an embarassment, the last thing you want is to be playing again in some game that doesn't really count.

Unfortunately Football season isn't as long as Baseball, Hockey or Basketball, where you could take a mid-season break and play a game. And because of the physical nature of the game, you couldn't move this to the beginning of pre-season (ie have last years all-stars play in the pro-bowl at the beginning of pre-season for the next season).

but why would you bother going to the concession game? you just played the biggest game of the year. it's not like Brady needs the free trip to Hawaii to get away, right? time to debrief from the season, take some time off and get ready for minicamp.
