I love the word "yikes".
It just makes me feel good. It's kind of funny (I think of Snoopy) and it really captures a feeling. And sometimes it's all I have to say to get the point across...Yikes!

2. I'm a big fan of "crikey!"
Not that I have an Aussie fetish or was a particular fan of the Croc Hunter, but the work is funny. I also really like "yoink!"

:)

4. I love expressions like that in general
"Gah!" and "Bwah!" are excellent.

Here's something else I think of: Some expressions wouldn't qualify as words in any legitimate dictionary, yet they speak entire sentences. Like, if someone asks you something and you go, "Iuhuh," they know you mean "I don't know."

Language is fascinating. :)

5. yeah, I think "yikes" is very expressive, too
and use it -- my whole family does, actually.

Redstone used the term "honked off" once and I almost fell on the floor laughing. Some words/phrases just get to me, and that particular phrase is perfect for being mad/irrationally irritated.

"Crikey" also pops out of my mouth on occasion. It irritates my Australian friends, though... :D

6. A couple of words I really like...
Someone used the word "piffle" around me not too long ago..I think it just sounds funny..
One of my favorite words though is an English/Aussie insult...Wanker. Don't ask me why, I just love that word
