5. We went to Friendly's. They kids were wonderful, but the service was so slow

I ended up waiting tables. The kids were so patient, but c'mon. 1 hour is a lot of ask of any child, let alone one with special needs.

I do find that the service there is pretty slow - once I wanted 45 minutes for Little MB's mac 'n cheese kids plate - I wasn't hungry. That is a LONG time for some pasta....

I thought they were a Northeastern thing. The service is slow at most Friendly's I've been to over the years, except for this one little gem of a Friendly's in Farmington, CT - and, all the servers there know my daughter.
