Any idea just how long marijuana stays in your system?

I got layed off from my job last Friday, still don't know exactly how to feel about it. I mean I hated the job with a fiery passion but the uncertainty of knowing how long my savings is gonna hold up is also quite stressful.

That night I got tanked at a friends house and smoked a little bit, not a lot just two hits. I saw a job posting in the paper today that I'm gonna try out for, it requires a drug test if hired so I'm wondering just how long the stuff stays in your system. I've heard different things about this from different people, so I thought I would ask the lounge.

1. Anywhere from a week to 30 days...

depending on your metabolism and the amount of marijuana that you’ve smoked.

3. By the time you're hired and take the test should be...

a few weeks, so you are probably safe. Two hits off a joint shouldn't be detectable by then. But, you never know...

Go for it anyway. Not much you can do about it now.
