...so I un-Ignored them for a few minutes just to see what the hubbub was about. It wasn't pretty.

Word to the wise--there's only one Forum it's safe to post onto after knocking back a few, and it sure as hell ain't GDP!!

:toast:

2. You reminded me of a Japanese cell phone I read about...

...last year. Apparently, it has a breathalyzer built-in, which samples the user's breath before each call and locks out certain numbers (ex, boss, etc.) if the BAC reading is too high. Now, that's what I call useful technology!

3. As one who has drunk dialed a time or two in her life...
I gotta say I'm down with that technology. Fortunately the people that I called were all cool with it and I didn't leave a rambling message on my bosses phone telling him to f-off or something

4. I had two of the oddest drunk dialing calls.
They were wrong numbers.

In the first one, the lady called my cell phone, crying and drunk. She said, "I did NOT call you a scuttlebutt."

When I told her she had the wrong number, she said, "Oh!" and seemed to sober up.

The second time, several months later, some drunk guy called. I told him he had the wrong number, but he ignored me and continued to talk. He had so many troubles with his girlfriend and his life that I just listened and said, "Uh huh, Uh huh."

After awhile, he hung up, not even saying goodbye.
