My baby boy will finally be born in a few days...WHEW!
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 04:18 PM by FedUpWithIt All
It has been a rough nine months but we are finally nearing the happy day.

Because of an insulin dependent case of gestational diabetes i am probably going to be induced on Tuesday or Wednesday. I am so relieved. Quite worn out physically.

I am giddy with excitement about the baby. It has been nine years since i pried open an infants hand to wipe the little palm or lifted up a tiny chin to clean the little hidden creases in its neck. I cannot wait to feel the soft fuzzy newborn skin on his little back. I cannot believe (yet again)how much you can love someone you have never actually met. Every day i study his daddy's face and try to imagine what he might look like. His sisters are bursting at the seams with anticipation. The child will NEVER be set down.

These last minutes, waiting to meet him, are both exhilarating and excruciating.

If anyone is feeling generous with the goodwill this week please send out a positive thought for us.

2. Many, many positive vibes coming your way.
May you and your new little one have a safe delivery. It's been almost twelve years for me, and I just love the way newborns feel, and smell. So sweet! :hi:

In my world, the closest "baby" is my three year old nephew, so it has been a while. I am pretty excited.

We have named him. Michael Joseph. Nothing very creative, I'm afraid. But he will have both my fiance and my father's names.

32. I don't like fancy names
I like strong, sturdy, old-fashioned names.

Michael is a great name... and there won't be 6 of them in his home-room in school.

40. Amazing.....
I am continually amazed and in awe of those of you in possession of two X chromosomes. How you can endure your assigned role in the reproductive process that sustains our kind is a wonder to those of us in the XY chromosome set. We are deeply grateful to you and even more grateful that we are allotted the slacker role in the process.
