2. Just beautiful! Do you keep them as pets?
They are such graceful creatures!

The third, with the darker coat, appeared to be a German Shepherd dog, No? OR, was that my imagination.

5. Yes, they're my babies
We got Bliss when she was 2 weeks old and bottle fed her for about a month. This helps socialize them better and they're much friendlier. We got Matsi just recently...our vet called asking if we would adopt her since we had just lost Shadow Hawk just a couple of months before. Matsi's owner had her living inside and she ate his couch..he wanted her put down but the vet knew we'd take her in a heartbeat...and of course we did. She fit right in the first day we cut her loose. Yes, Spirit was supposed to be a wolf but as she grew, we knew it wasn't the case. Her mother was "supposedly" a shepherd/hybrid mix and the father was a Samoyed.

7. Awwww. Matsi is soooo playful! Thank you for
rescuing them. It's a reminder to all of us of the beauty of nature...And, of how we need to honor and care for all of the creatures.

And,sadly, of how wrong Man has been to fear and hate the wolves. God, ....the stereotypes carry on to this day.

8. Wolves fear man...
The fairy tales about the big bad wolf are just that..fairy tales. If any stranger walks near them, they're on the opposite end of their domain pacing back and forth until the stranger leaves. It really is quite sad to wolves instinctively know to fear man.

By the way, Matsi is only about 15 months old and still has a lot of puppy in her. Bliss is 7 & Spirit is 13 and just as ornery as ever. :D
