4. I was just arguing with a RW about "our oil"

He thinks that there are MASSIVE oil reserves in ANWR that the "liberals" are keeping from us. The geologists I know say that there's about 6-13 months worth of oil in ANWR...for the state of California. It's take 10 years and billions of our tax dollars to build the infrastructure to extract it, though, and THAT'S where the real money is for the GOP (Halliburtan).

Anybody who has looked into peak oil knows that America needs far, far more oil than what exists under our soil. And if having more oil brought down the price of gas, then why has the price of petrol gone UP after we "secured" Iraq's oil reserves? Why is that oil being sold to Israel, India and Pakistan? Just a few questions to ask the repugs who circulate these emails.
