1. oh me!

Not nearly as evident as when I was a kid. I was Opie - bright red hair and covered with freckles.

13. well, the sad fact is

I'm mostly gray now on top (but still with a lovely red sheen) but the boys are still vibrant. And I have no children.

My mother had gorgeous red hair, but also went gray young. She died it only for a short time, then gave up and has been a lovely silver for many years now.

One summer I tried a lemon rinse on it, but the coverage was spotty...

I decided it wasn't worth the effort...

The silver is a beautiful color, and no effort is needed!

they pulled her out of school in 5th grade because her asthma was so bad. They said she'd die before she got to adulthood, so they never educated her.

She just had her 76th birthday.
