and that's just the beginning of how i feel. . .

my husband has died, - the guy across the street fell and lay in his house for 2-3 days, was discovered, carted off to the hospital and has subsequently died and now another neighbor-of-mine came to my door today to tell me to be careful - there was an *attempted* break-in at her house , and , oh, by-the-way - she's leaving her husband and looking for an apartment.

i know that seems trivial - it's just that the whole frickin' world seems to be falling apart. thankfully, i'm getting over my cold/flu, got up, showered, dressed, and then sat home all day because i had nowhere to go.


i'm thinking of picking up a book and going to sit at starbucks for a while.

crap.


i'm telling you - life surely sucks at times.

5. getting out of the house sounds like it might be a good idea

i just spent about an hour at my favorite coffee shop, just reading and drinking coffee. that always puts me in a good mood. i'm sorry to hear about your neighbor.

she puts herself there - next to the patio glass doors - or in the laundry room in the *panty-basket* on the shelf ...

she's a character, but i think she senses my ill nature today.
