Best formula for cleaning LP records.

I just got a USB turntable and boy you really need to clean the record before recording. Otherwise it sounds like crap. I've look at some on-line resources that frankly are too much in-depth. I just need a basic make-at home- formula and advice on what type of cloth to use. I already bough a stylus cleaner.

1. Cloth with any solution will cause problems, much less static.

I suggest the proven and venerable Discwasher products, including the record cleaner/solution and stylus cleaner/solution.

Never use water as it leaves film and/or minerals, or anything that destablises the oil component of vinyl.
