I am about to reveal one of the greatest secrets of Womendom

I'm sorry, ladies, for I must tell. I know you might all strike me down for the revelation, but I think we have kept this secret for far too long. Besides, they think they have kept greater secrets from us, when in fact, we have managed to fool them for millennia!

Everyone knows that the greatest meals are all in the cold, freezing season of winter. And there is a reason for that! For the truth is, the kitchen is the warmest room in the house during those months--something every woman can attest to!

Yes, women might bitterly complain how taxing it is to cook and prepare food all day, for even days during the holidays, but they have been covering up this secret in the guise of bitching about the work! And all of womendom know this, and have encouraged men to meet in the drawing room or den, all perfectly content to enjoy the warmth and heat found in the kitchen.

We can no longer, however, keep this to ourselves. For now, with modern heating technology, it has grown warmer in all rooms of the house, and now it is time to remove ourselves from all that work, and invade all bastions of maledom they once thought safe!

So while we have kept this secret for a very long time, we no longer have to--we can now find the same warm and cozy conditions elsewhere in the house, and need no longer pretend to complain about the cooking, because we can bitch about it with absolutely no pretense!

We can be proud that few men ever found out our secret; but it no secret that the major traitors in history have been men, because keeping secrets is beyond them! ;)
