A Question for YouTube Experts...

In a couple of weeks, I am going to perform, and it is going to be recorded! (More on that later...)

Now...

I want to take that digital recording, and transfer it onto YouTube...

I have no idea how...

Who can tell me how you do this?

Cause I want all of you to see me!

And hear me as well...

I coincidentally just got put up on you tube by someone who recorded about 6 minutes of a show I was part of, but it was recorded off this person's cell phone (I have no idea who it was), so the quality is not real good, needless to say. P.S.---curious as to what type of performer you are. Music, theater, dance...combinations thereof...?

19. It's pretty simple...

Once you have the digital video file on your computer, just follow these instructions:

First, you have to create an account with YouTube. (Don't worry, it's free.)

When you log in you'll see a yellow button on the right hand side that says "Upload."

Click the Upload button, fill in the information it asks for, then click the "Upload A Video" button.

That will take you to a page with an empty field and a "Browse" button next to it. Click the Browse button, then find the video on your hard drive in the window that opens up, then click OK.

Click the "Upload Video" button and wait it out.

YouTube has limits on the size and length of the video though. You need to make sure it's no longer than 10 minutes and no larger than 100mb. As long as it meets those standars, you're all set. If it's a little long or a little large you can make it smaller, but that's a little more technical.
